Pamamae Awhina | EMDR for All

Community trauma response for Aotearoa.

Trauma Aid Aotearoa supports communities recovering from disasters, mass-casualty events, and collective trauma through accessible, evidence-based psychological care.

We exist to expand access to high-quality trauma care, support recovery at scale, and build a more resilient, trauma-informed Aotearoa.

Community & Disaster Response

The heart of Trauma Aid: partnering with local organisations, marae, schools, health services, and community groups after large-scale events.

How we help

Scalable care that does not ask people to retell everything.

Trauma Aid specialises in EMDR-informed approaches that can support people safely in groups and communities, including recent-event support, stabilisation, resourcing, and carefully facilitated processing.

The Path Program is one part of this work: an active ACC pathway for clients who can benefit from structured online support using psychoeducation, resourcing, and poi-assisted bilateral movement.
